Looking Ahead
I have been practicing haftarah with some students (all sound great!) and I know that everyone is excited about their bat/bar mitzvahs. Some students have said they will continue with the Hebrew high school program after their b'nei mitzvah, while others will not be able to. Whether you will continue at PJC or not, what area of Jewish learning would you like to continue as 'Jewish adults', either in a formal setting or on your own, once Hebrew School is officially over?

Well, I am going to do Hebrew High School after Hebrew School is over, and then I hope to be one of the teaching assistants. I think that it will be fun helping younger kids learn Hebrew and learn what we learned.
Glad to hear it!
I make an effort to study a little Talmud every day, just for the sake of it, but it's tough with all the obligations for grad school, work, etc. I'm curious about what other Jewish topics people are interested in pursuing.
I'm going to Hebrew High School and will continue to attend services. I think It's important to keep participating in the synagoge antd in Judaism. I also want to become a madricha for the younger kids. And Heather, the teaching assistants are called madrichas. Or madrichim. Whatever.
